Happy Neighbour Group (HNG) is an Indigenous-led social enterprise rooted in community, culture, and care. We create practical, regenerative solutions in food, housing, and wellness for rural and Northern communities—starting in Northern Ontario.
Through our four divisions — HNFarms and HNHomes —we grow local food, build resilient homes, support Indigenous healing, and track our collective impact.
We’re guided by the belief that strong communities begin with access to the essentials: nourishment, shelter, wellness, and a connection to land and culture.
We believe in healing—land, people, and systems. Our work regenerates what’s been depleted through local food production, sustainable housing, and culturally rooted care. From soil health to community wellness, regeneration is at the heart of everything we do.
We are guided by the voices of the communities we serve. We build with, not for—listening deeply, responding to local needs, and creating space for collaboration, leadership, and trust. Every project is a shared journey.
We honour the wisdom passed down through generations. Indigenous teachings shape our approach to food, housing, wellness, and responsibility to land. Our work is a bridge between ancestral knowledge and modern innovation.
We use cutting-edge solutions—like vertical farming and smart housing systems—not just to modernize, but to make life better. Technology is a tool for resilience, sustainability, and access. Innovation serves people, not the other way around.
