CMHA - Community Involvement

Happy Neighbour Group (HNG) is proud to support the Capreol Minor Hockey Association (CMHA) as part of our commitment to youth development and community wellness. Through this partnership, HNG is actively helping to reshape how local sports associations fundraise and educate the next generation of leaders.

Our involvement focuses on two key areas:

• Replacing traditional junk food fundraising with healthier, community-driven alternatives through Happy Neighbour Farms — offering fresh, local produce that benefits both families and local food systems.
• Delivering off-ice education modules that promote life skills, leadership, teamwork, and personal growth in youth athletes.

In addition, HNG proudly supports the integration of the PAD Program (Passion, Aptitude, Discipline) into CMHA, led and created by our partner organization TIGA (Turtle Island Guardian Alliance). While TIGA leads the cultural and programmatic development of PAD, HNG’s role is to reinforce that work with tangible support systems that strengthen access, education, and health within the hockey community.

This partnership is about more than hockey — it's about building healthier, stronger communities through youth engagement and practical, values-aligned solutions.
